Two women killed as car rams bike near Srivaikuntam in Thoothukudi
Police identified the deceased as Sathya , 40, of Thiruvalluvar Colony, and Amutha, 45, of Nazareth.
Police said the duo were riding to Srivaikuntam on the Thoothukudi-Srivaikuntam road. Both women suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot, police said. When they were nearing the Mudivaithanendal tank, a speeding car rammed into the two-wheeler from behind.

They registered a case against the car driver, Saravanan , 31, of Nazareth, and arrested him.
