Warangal: A 31-year-old woman from Telangana died in a road accident in the St Louis area of Missouri, US, after a truck rammed into her car late on Saturday night.
Daram Supriya, a native of Maripeda in Mahabubabad district, was returning home after closing her restaurant when the accident occurred, family members said.
The accident occurred at around 1.40 am, according to him.
We are in a state of shock after learning about the incident,” said D Srinivas, Supriya’s father, who currently lives near Naidupeta Circle in Khammam. “We have no words. He has written to chief minister A Revanth Reddy, urging the govt to help bring his daughter’s mortal remains to India for the last rites. Both families in Telangana were informed about Supriya’s death by Ranjith. Supriya’s relatives have also sought help from the police and politicians through social media. “Our sister, Daram Supriya, from Khammam met with a car accident in Missouri.
