Hyderabad: Sovereign AI cloud services provider BharathCloud has opened its second facility in Hyderabad that will support its growing cloud and AI infrastructure business and house a planned global network operations centre to enhance infrastructure monitoring, operational resilience and service reliability.
The 10,000 sq ft facility that has come up at HITEC City will see the company onboard more than 500 employees across technology and business functions. BharathCloud co-founder Rahul Takkallapally said Hyderabad has remained central to BharathCloud’s growth since its founding in 2021, and the new office reflects investment in talent, infrastructure and capabilities for Indian and international markets. BharathCloud CTO and co-founder Padma Reddy Sama said the planned GNOC would provide greater visibility across infrastructure and services, enabling faster response to operational issues as customers scale cloud and AI adoption. The company’s hiring for the facility will cover cloud engineering, AI infrastructure, network operations, cybersecurity, customer support and business operations, adding to Hyderabad’s technology talent base. The expansion follows BharathCloud’s launch of an AI-ready sovereign cloud centre at CtrlS Datacenters’ Hyderabad DC1 facility and its appointment of JLL as advisory partner for infrastructure rollout across India and abroad.
