Hyderabad: AI solutions provider for social impact players, Blackbaud, has opened a second facility in Hyderabad, expanding its India operations as the software provider increases investment in customer support, product development and global delivery capabilities.
Blackbaud said the new 45,000-sq ft facility in Hyderabad’s Financial District will primarily support the company’s growing customer operations organisation and provide capacity for future hiring and will complement its HITEC City facility that houses product management, enterprise technology, data engineering, research and development teams.
The company said India will remain important to innovation and long-term growth, particularly in AI, cloud technologies and customer-facing services. Rajiv Gajria, vice president and managing director of Blackbaud India, said Hyderabad brings together product, engineering, data and customer capabilities that allow local teams to work closely with global colleagues across the technology lifecycle. Blackbaud, listed on Nasdaq as BLKB, provides AI-powered software for nonprofits, educational institutions, corporate social responsibility programmes and other social impact organisations.
