On Sunday morning, three police officers were injured when a UP 112 emergency response vehicle lost control in Vishdhan town, located under the Kakwan police station in Bilhaur tehsil of Kanpur. The vehicle skidded into a waterlogged roadside ditch while attempting to avoid a fast-moving car, resulting in it overturning and trapping the officers inside. Fortunately, nearby villagers intervened and successfully rescued the trapped personnel. The officers sustained minor injuries but are expected to recover.

The patrol vehicle was on duty when the driver attempted to steer clear of an oncoming car, causing the vehicle to overturn and leave the officers trapped inside. After hearing about the accident, nearby villagers hurried to the scene and managed to rescue the three policemen by opening the vehicle’s doors and windows. The Vishdhan police outpost was notified, and officers soon arrived at the location. The damaged vehicle was later removed with the help of a tractor belonging to a local villager.
