During the visit, General Subramani held discussions with Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command and other senior officers. The CDS also inspected a new Central Command hospital which is under construction. Officials briefed him on the progress of the project and the healthcare facilities planned at the hospital. During his visit, General Subramani also called on Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath . The two discussed issues of mutual interest, including coordination between the armed forces and the state govt. The visit to Central Command headquarters also included review of efforts aimed at strengthening logistics, infrastructure and operational capabilities to address emerging requirements.
