Meerut : Around 150 to 200 students of Sir Chotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology (SCRIET) at Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) staged a sit-in protest outside vice-chancellor Sangeeta Shukla’s office, demanding hostel accommodation for newly admitted students. Student leaders alleged that they had been demanding additional hostel accommodation for a long time, but to no avail.
