In Malwa block of Fatehpur district, a house collapsed due to an explosion from a gas cylinder
Upon being alerted over house collapse incident, joint teams of police and fire department rushed the spot and carried out rescue operations. PRAYAGRAJ: In a tragic incident, at least three persons of a family died and two others were seriously injured when a two storyed house collaped after domestic LPG cylinder explosion at Malwa block under the limits of Malwa police station of Fatehpur district on Monday.
A senior cop told TOI that there were at least 10 family members in a family living in a two storyed building at Malwa block. He added when a woman member of a family went inside kitchen to prepare food, the domestic cylinder exploded and resulted the collapse of the house. Five of the family members managed to escape from the house while five others were trapped in the debris of collapsed house.
