An argument between Prajapati and his cousin Ravi , who lives in the neighbourhood, escalated into an attack, according to preliminary information. Ravi, his wife Anita , sister Suman Verma and Pappu allegedly beat Prajapati severely, striking him on the head with an iron rod. Kakadeo police station in-charge Dharmendra Kumar Ram reached the scene with police personnel after receiving information about the incident. Police detained Ravi’s wife, mother and sister, while Ravi fled from the hospital. Efforts are under way to trace him. Download the TOI App.
