Body of Avinash alias Dinesh Kumar (50) was found on Yamuna river bank in Etawah
Kanpur: The body of a 50-year-old man was allegedly found on the Yamuna riverbank near Andawa village under Bakewar police station limits in Etawah district on Saturday morning.
Police said the body had been sent for postmortem examination and that the cause of death would be ascertained after the report is received and further investigation is carried out. On receiving the information, police reached the spot and inspected the scene.
Around 7 am on Saturday, villagers informed the family that a body was lying on the Yamuna riverbank.
When Avinash did not return by evening and failed to answer phone calls, family members went to the youth’s house, but his relatives told them that he was not at home. The family rushed to the spot and identified the body as Avinash’s. Pooja further alleged that the body was dressed in clothes belonging to the youth.
