Lucknow: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced a protest against chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Lucknow on Oct 9. . Singh added that in the name of SIR, names of over 13 crore voters were deleted. He said this time the two election commissioners had admitted that they objected to various issues 14 times over the past 10 months but were ignored. “An attempt was made to delete 16 lakh votes in Bengal in violation of rules. On completion of Modi’s 25 years in public life, Singh said the country had been reduced to crying over unemployment, paper leaks, inflation and the politics of hatred.

AAP Rajya Sabha MP and UP in-charge Sanjay Singh said that there was a need to go back to ballot paper voting, asking why BJP was so opposed to the idea. He should win through ballot paper voting like he wins through EVMs,” Singh said, questioning BJP’s support for the EC during the ongoing unrest. Gyanesh Kumar is working for the BJP,” he said.

AAP, however, did not actively join the opposition’s Delhi protests this week as it is no longer part of the INDIA bloc. “If PM Narendra Modi is so popular then what is he scared of? In Goa, verified voters could not be added back to the list.

The party has summoned its entire cadre from across UP to be present in the state capital on Friday to participate in the demonstrations against ‘vote chori’.
