Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday got a woman admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia

Sonkar said his sister had been undergoing treatment in Ayodhya before being referred to Lucknow, but the family’s poor financial condition was hampering access to timely medical care. Several other visitors at the public outreach programme also sought financial aid for medical treatment, according to a state govt spokesperson. Shyam Sonkar from Ayodhya approached CM for urgent treatment of his ailing sister, Babita. Chief minister also assured the family of financial assistance. Relieved after his sister was admitted, Sonkar later conveyed his gratitude to CM and officials. Assuring them of all possible support, Yogi directed officials to expedite preparation of treatment estimates and submit them to govt at the earliest. He reiterated that no patient’s treatment should suffer for want of funds.
