Following internal discussions on the capabilities of shortlisted candidates, the trust may announce its choice after the meeting. Swami Vishwaprasanna Teerth of Udupi, Parmananda Giri Maharaj of Haridwar and founder trustee K Parasaran, who is based in Chennai, are expected to join virtually. Ex-officio members are also likely to attend the proceedings online. The trust is also expected to discuss the internal security of the Ram temple complex and formulate a strategy to strengthen monitoring of personnel deployed in various roles. A committee is likely to be constituted for this purpose. Members are expected to be briefed on the need to augment resources to manage the increased influx of devotees during the upcoming festive season.
Ayodhya : Members of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust are expected to learn the name of the temple trust’s first chief executive officer on Wednesday when they convene for a key meeting. Members will assemble at Maniram Das Chavani on Wednesday afternoon for the meeting chaired by trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. Trust treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri said on Tuesday, “I feel the name could be announced after Wednesday’s meeting, but the final decision will be taken only after consultations with other members. On Tuesday, after meeting the three members of the CEO search panel, Giri, along with trust general secretary Krishna Mohan, trustee Mahant Dinendra Das, Ayodhya district magistrate and ex-officio trust member Shashank Tripathi, invited member and senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad functionary Dinesh, secretary Jagdish Afle, Jagannath Gulve and senior VHP functionary Bajrang Bagada, felicitated the panel members.
