Lucknow : MSME minister Bhupendra Chaudhary said that under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath , the state govt had implemented several schemes for the all-round upliftment of artisans and handicraft workers.
“In recent years, more than 6 lakh handicraft workers and artisans have benefited from these schemes. Under Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana 2.0, the scope of the scheme has been expanded to include both traditional and modern occupations,” he said, adding that along with providing free training and toolkits, emphasis was also being placed on better packaging, branding and linking artisans’ products with e-commerce platforms.
