Nisha and Aashi
Neeraj was riding the motorcycle with four pillion passengers, in violation of traffic rules, when a speeding truck struck the two-wheeler on the highway, according to police. The force of the collision threw Nisha and Aashi onto the road, leaving them dead on the spot. The truck driver abandoned the vehicle and fled after the accident. Police teams rushed to the scene after receiving information about the crash and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Kanpur: What began as a journey home after Raksha Bandhan ended in tragedy for a Madhya Pradesh family in Etawah on Sunday, when a speeding truck ploughed into their motorcycle near Bilampur turn under the Ekdil police station limits, killing two sisters and injuring three others, including a six-month-old infant.
Nisha and her family were on their way to the railway station to catch a train to Gwalior after celebrating Raksha Bandhan with Ayush when the accident occurred. From Gwalior, they were scheduled to travel to their home in Bhind.
