The CM said Lucknow should be developed beyond its existing municipal and district boundaries as a State Capital Region (SCR), incorporating Unnao, Hardoi, Sitapur, Barabanki and Rae Bareli. Singh said projects such as the airport expansion, Aerocity, the proposed Artificial Intelligence City, Anant Nagar, Metro, Kisan Path, Green Corridor and industrial investments would strengthen Lucknow’s infrastructure and employment ecosystem. He also highlighted Sarojininagar’s growing educational and industrial profile and said development should go hand in hand with environmental conservation.
The projects include two major townships and five multi-storey residential developments. Yogi Adityanath also stressed transparent land acquisition and compensation, saying landowners would be dealt with directly and compensation transferred to their bank accounts without intermediaries.
