A six-year-old boy drowned on Saturday evening after reportedly falling into a water-filled pit near his home in the BBD police station area of Lucknow. Harshit of Deeh village was out with his friend Nandish (6) near their houses at around 4 pm, according to information. Police said Harshit went towards a water-filled pit to urinate but reportedly lost his footing and fell into the water.
