Young heritage champions shine at INTACH quiz: The wider industry impact

On Wednesday, the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) Prayagraj Chapter, in partnership with Tagore Public School, organized the city-level annual heritage quiz for 2026. This event aimed to promote awareness and appreciation of local heritage among students in the region.

Prayagraj edition saw spirited participation from CBSE schools, with 97 teams registered. Following the rigorous elimination rounds, 13 teams qualified for the oral stages, and the competition progressed through six dynamic rounds, blending written, oral, visual, and buzzer formats. The quiz was conducted across multiple cities, leading up to state and national rounds. After an intense final round, the first prize went to Patanjali Rishikul, who displayed exceptional knowledge and quick thinking. The second and third prizes were bagged by Shri Mahaprabhu Public School. Guest of honour Dr Pankaj Sharma emphasised the importance of and sensitivity towards heritage and culture in the world of AI. The quiz rounds covering national, local and INTACH-related heritage were conducted with high energy, with audience interaction encouraged through open questions.
