An Instagram reel is doing rounds on the internet as the user narrates her experience of purchasing a Nish Hair wig worth around Rs 35,000 and complaining that she was never informed about the shelf life of the product, which is less than a year. She further added that the team kept on circulating her about how they could comb and maintain the wig rather than addressing her concerns regarding their quality and durability, and now it has begun shedding after some time.

September 2025. One user wrote, “These wigs usually last for like 3-4 months and max 6 months with the best care. That’s why he gets the wig directly from the supplier for like 5-6k, whereas online and offline it was like 20-30k, which is too expensive if you change them every 4-5 times in a year.”
Because there’s someone, I know, who also uses wigs, and he changes every 2-3 months, idk what they claim, but you need to change these wigs often.
She also mentioned, “And we are not going to share call recordings of you telling our agents words that can’t be told. Parul Gulati responded to the allegations in the comments and addressed the customer directly, where she wrote, “Hi ma’am, we spoke with you a couple of times and tried to tell you a worn piece cannot be exchanged, and it is after one year of purchase plus one year of usage. Hence, I wasn’t personally engaging, but you are a valued customer, and we have given a solution that is best suited for a product purchased one year ago. As the post went viral, many people commented and expressed their opinions regarding the situation.
