NEW DELHI: The International League T20 (ILT20) on Thursday has announced that Chief Executive Officer David White will leave his position after requesting not to extend his contract and deciding to return to his home country, New Zealand.

“The ILT20 team acknowledges the hard work and commitment of David White as the league’s CEO during his three-year stay and thanks him for his services,” Al Zarooni said. White said he had decided to return to New Zealand after three successful years with the league. I am grateful to the ILT20 for accepting my request,” White said.

“Under White, the league made great progress and succeeded in establishing itself as one of the major tournaments in the world. White played a leading role in the league’s growth during his tenure. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours. “I have decided to return to my home country, New Zealand, after three hugely successful years with the International League T20.
