Fortnitemares 2026 is about to get another horror heavyweight in the form of Obsession. The 2026 horror film that became a surprise box office hit, is joining Fortnite with a Nikki skin and a small set of matching cosmetics. As per the recent announcement made by Epic Games, the Obsession bundle will arrive in Fortnite on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. The official reveal of the contents will likely be made a day earlier on Tuesday, October 20. In other time zones, that’s midnight UTC and already October 22 in places across Asia. The One Wish Willow Sprite subsequently arrived on October 15 with the v42.40 update, alongside the encrypted Nikki files. Collab Outfits in Fortnite typically cost between 1,500 and 2,000 V-Bucks, with bundles costing more, so expect the full set to land higher. Obsession was a low-budget phenomenon, and one report says it grossed over $500 million against a budget under $1 million. If you want Nikki, plan to check the Item Shop on October 21 at 8 PM ET. Epic first released a promotional trailer for the film in the summer, which led dataminer HYPEX to predict a Halloween collaboration. Only Nikki is confirmed in the files so far. That’s an estimate, not a confirmed figure.
The Fortnitemares 2026 trailer on September 29 then flashed the film’s “One Wish Willow” item along with a Capstone Studios copyright credit, confirming Obsession would be part of the event in some form. The Obsession bundle includes: Nikki Freeman (Outfit): Based on the film’s lead, played by Inde Navarrette, in her “Freaky Nikki” look Back Bling Pickaxe Emote: Uses a prop and has a special version when performed with the Nikki skin Leakers also say Nikki will have a unique lobby idle animation, according to leaks from HYPEX. A rumor that the skin might show blood on her face remains unconfirmed, and it largely stems from Fortnite’s recently added “animated blood” warning. A skin based on Bear, the film’s other main character, is unconfirmed, and one outlet earlier said it was unlikely.
Epic Games has recently posted an official announcement for the shop drop, with leakers piecing together the contents that the bundle will be featuring. In the section below, we take a detailed look at the Fortnite x Obsession collaboration. The crossover didn’t come out of nowhere. On her look, leakers describe the character’s red zebra-print top and skirt from the movie. Bear’s One Wish Willow item has, however, become a collectible in the form of the Sprite.
