Genshin Impact Version 7.2 is set to launch globally on November 4, 2026, at 11 AM (UTC+8), with the recent livestream preview giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the same. As mentioned above, Genshin Impact 7.2 releases on November 4, 2026, at 11 AM (UTC+8). Essentially, Genshin versions have followed a steady 42-day cycle, with each update arriving on a Wednesday. November 4 fits that pattern exactly, and it follows the previous version that arrived on August 12.
As a result, you are advised to keep the following things in mind: Maintenance notice: HoYoverse typically posts an Update Maintenance Preview in-game and on its official channels a couple of days ahead. There are several interesting things to arrive as part of the game’s upcoming release. The date lines up with the game’s usual rhythm. It confirms the schedule and lists any compensation for the downtime. Compensation: Maintenance usually comes with a Primogem payout, which you can claim from your in-game mail once the update goes live.
Servers don’t switch to the new version instantly, and HoYoverse will be taking the game offline for update maintenance several hours before the launch time.
