Ayesha Curry shared three Instagram Stories from the snowy set of “Second Chance Holiday” one day before the movie starts streaming on The Roku Channel. The text reads “Second Chance Holiday Streaming Nov 5 on @therokuchannel,” with a smaller line below: “I wonder if I’ll ever have to climb a ladder again. Nothing in the posts says what the stunts or the ladder were for. As a teenager she took small parts on “Hannah Montana,” “Gary Unmarried” and “Good Luck Charlie. Her recent credits include “A Black Lady Sketch Show” and the 2024 Netflix film “Irish Wish,” opposite Lindsay Lohan. “There’s something truly magical about holiday rom-coms,” Curry told The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is her first lead role after years of smaller parts. The clips show a snow-covered shoot location, a ski slope and a night scene beside a pickup truck with a wreath on its front.
