LeBron James , the NBA legend, is all set to return to the court after joining the Philadelphia 76ers in the next few weeks for seemingly his last season on the court. During the offseason, both LeBron James and his wife, Savannah James, have kept themselves busy with their work in their foundation’s education wing, I PROMISE School. LeBron James opened up on what motivated him While their foundation has impacted thousands of lives in Akron. Growing up in the inner city, the numbers are always stacked up against you. So you didn’t really know what was possible. And I believe that’s where it all kind of starts. The four time NBA champion continued, “That following year I met the Walker family, and they had a support system. I met some little league coaches playing basketball and football and the following year I didn’t miss one day of school. Soon after the NBA icon was drafted in the league by the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James set up the LeBron James’ Family Foundation as a way to help families in Akron. For now, the former Los Angeles Lakers’ icon is spending time with his family and helping his foundation as he gears up to get back to the league with the Philadelphia 76ers in the next few days.
