Because the pain of not having a father fuelled his ambitions, in an interview with TODAY, the four time NBA champion LeBron James opened up about his mother’s role in his life as he said, “I don’t know if she read about it, or she just heard about it, but from day one, I always had that mother and father inside my mother, so I never was a kid that was kind of like, ‘Where is my father?”’ In many of his interviews, the former Los Angeles Lakers’ star player has often expressed how he became successful and achieved the success he has. LeBron James , the former Los Angeles Lakers’ star player, is a billionaire but also a present father to the three children he shares with his wife, Savannah James. Even though LeBron James has always been focused on his career, he has never missed a moment to be with his children. A lot of these habits could be attributed to the absence of a father figure in LeBron James’ life as he has often reflected on how his mother stepped up to fill in the absence. The NBA legend has also often expressed gratitude to his mother for the success he has seen in his professional career.
