Though there has been a lot of buzz around his personal life and marriage, Travis Kelce has remained committed to his career. Ahead of the new season, Travis Kelce has opened up about one of the regrets he has had in his career. In an interview with GQ, the Kansas City Chiefs’ popular tight end, Travis Kelce opened up about how desperately he wanted to play for the Cleveland Browns.

Despite his pleading, things did not work out for Travis Kelce in the Cleveland Browns and he ultimately was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013. In the last season, Travis Kelce recorded 76 receptions for 851 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns across 17 games and many fans and analysts have been stressing about the decline in his performance.

Travis Kelce said, “I cried in Chud’s (Rob Chudzinski, the then head coach of the Cleveland Browns) office and said, ‘I will f**king die for this city!’ ” The Super Bowl champion added, “I literally was in tears. I said, ‘I’m sorry I’m getting emotional. Reflecting on his early days in the league, the popular tight end said, “When I was younger in the league, I used to have some of the older players come up to me and be like, ‘Man, you celebrate after every f*cking catch!
