And now, a fabricated video of his Week 2 hamstring injury is circulating online. A Grade 1 hamstring injury causes mild pain, according to PlayerScout.
As the team’s medical staff members gather around him, he holds up his colorfully painted nails and says, “I chipped my nail polish. Another member lets out, “F*ck this guy,” in reaction. One medical staff member hands him a menstrual pad, saying, “I think you’re just on your period, you little b*tch. Then the member puts the pad over his painted nails. The other medical staff members burst into laughter as Williams stares in shock at his injured hand. This clip is a textbook definition of a malicious AI-generated video. It results from the overstretching of muscles or tendons. You may feel a slight ache or pull in the back of your thigh. The pain might not appear until you stop playing football, and the player may not even remember when the injury occurred. The injury might not affect a player’s walking pattern, though they may feel slight discomfort during weight-bearing activities.
