The actress revealed that she and her husband hosted the celebration two days after Halloween, turning a busy NFL schedule into an excuse for a memorable night.

But her comment about their “Allen’s in Wonderland” theme caught fans’ attention for a more personal reason. Hailee Steinfeld had a playful reminder for Josh Allen while sharing details of the Buffalo Bills’ annual Halloween party. Now, with their relationship having reached a new chapter, the party had a different meaning.

Steinfeld admitted she had wanted the theme a year earlier, but the couple were not married then.

The Bills had plenty to celebrate after their 36-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens at Highmark Stadium. Allen and Steinfeld followed the victory with the team’s annual Halloween party, which took place on Monday night, November 2, according to Steinfeld’s newsletter, Beau Society. The remark was a lighthearted nod to their 2024 Halloween celebration.

Recalling the proposal, Allen told Steinfeld about a morning when she had jumped onto the bed while they were getting ready for brunch. “The funniest thing was that we woke up and were getting ready for brunch and you jumped on the bed and said ‘Can we get married already?!? Little did you know I was about to propose to you…” “I said I couldn’t wait any longer. I said I can’t wait to start a family with you. I said your full name, and I asked you very nicely. I said please.”

Allen and Steinfeld had opted for a circus-themed party that year, before their relationship took another major step forward. What are you waiting for??! I replied, ‘Just give me a little more time.
