Josh Allen is cutting the price of his California bachelor pad by more than half a million dollars, putting his Dana Point property back on the market at $7.95 million. The Buffalo Bills quarterback first listed the coastal home for $8.5 million after marrying Hailee Steinfeld. The price change adds another twist to the story of the luxury property, which Allen bought in 2023 and used as an offseason escape. Allen originally purchased the 2,808-square-foot California home for $7.2 million in 2023. After spending offseasons there, the NFL star listed the property for $8.5 million following his May wedding. The home has now returned to the market with a $7.95 million asking price. That represents a $550,000 reduction from the previous listing. The nearly 12,000-square-foot lot backs onto Monarch Bay’s private park and has gated access. “The nearly 12, 000-square-foot flat lot backs to Monarch Bays private park with direct gated access, providing a perfect canvas for a resort-style backyard with pool, spa, and custom amenities. He purchased the land in 2021 for $500,000 before developing the larger residence, which includes a swimming pool, pool house and sports court. The property spans about 9,000 square feet and includes six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a private pool. For now, Allen’s Dana Point mansion is back in the spotlight at $7.95 million.

“Convenient access to world-class golf, hiking, Dana Point Harbor, and luxury resorts completes the unparalleled lifestyle,” the listing adds. The Dana Point residence sits inside Monarch Bay, a guard-gated coastal community known for its privacy and access to a private beach club. Its location also puts Allen close to luxury resorts, golf courses, hiking trails and Dana Point Harbor. Inside, the home combines mid-century California design with modern updates. Large windows bring natural light into the living spaces, while sliding doors connect the interior with the outdoor area. The kitchen features quartz countertops, modern appliances and generous storage. The primary suite includes a sitting area and direct outdoor access, while the primary bathroom has two vanities and a large glass shower. Three of the four bedrooms also have en suite bathrooms and access to outdoor spaces. One of the property’s biggest attractions may be the land surrounding the house. That gives a future owner plenty of room to create a more elaborate outdoor setup, including a pool, spa and other custom features. The listing also highlights the private Monarch Bay Beach Club, which is managed by Waldorf Astoria and offers beachside services, dining and event space. “Residents enjoy exclusive membership to the private Monarch Bay Beach Club, managed by the Waldorf Astoria, offering beach butler service, coastal dining, oceanfront lounging, and private event space. Allen’s California property is only one part of his real estate portfolio. The Bills quarterback also owns a custom-built mansion in Orchard Park, New York, close to Highmark Stadium. Whether the revised price attracts a buyer remains to be seen, but the listing gives prospective buyers another chance to own a sizeable coastal property previously used by one of the NFL’s most recognisable quarterbacks.
