Mia Khalifa’s bizarre Deshaun Watson
Watson became one of the biggest talking points surrounding Thursday Night Football after helping the Cleveland Browns rally past the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24. The quarterback completed 24 of 33 passes for 268 yards, a touchdown and an interception as Cleveland picked up its third straight win. Deshaun Watson is back in the NFL spotlight, and somehow, an old video of him playing basketball with Mia Khalifa has found its way back into the conversation. The video shows Khalifa playing basketball with Watson inside a home while wearing a maid outfit. The footage is not new, however, and dates back several years. The resurfaced clip shows the pair casually shooting hoops indoors, with Khalifa appearing to take part in a lighthearted basketball game with Watson. Prime Video also featured a Taylor Rooks interview with Watson, adding another layer to the attention surrounding the Browns quarterback. With Watson suddenly dominating the NFL conversation again, social media users began digging up old footage involving the quarterback, including one particularly bizarre clip featuring adult film star Mia Khalifa. The Mia Khalifa footage is essentially a blast from the past that has been pulled back into the spotlight by Watson’s current NFL moment. Rather than being evidence of a new meeting between the two, the clip is old footage that has resurfaced amid the renewed attention surrounding Watson. Still, seeing an NFL quarterback casually play basketball with Khalifa in a maid outfit is exactly the kind of unexpected throwback that can take on a second life once social media rediscovers it. And with Watson back at the center of the NFL conversation, the internet apparently decided it was time to bring this piece of his past back into the timeline.
