Michael Strahan ’s personal life has taken another turn at 54. Because marriage is expected to be the next step, at 54, he does not appear eager to force his personal life into a familiar script just.
After two marriages, a broken engagement and a costly divorce involving Jean Muggli, Strahan says he still believes in love, but his latest comments suggest marriage is no longer something he feels he needs to pursue. Still, Strahan has not said that he has rejected marriage permanently. He says he loves love and refuses to completely close the door.
The news came weeks before Strahan opened up about marriage and admitted he is unsure about walking down the aisle again. His own words are more measured. For now, his priorities appear to be family, work and the life he has built outside the NFL.
The former NFL star and *Good Morning America* co-anchor is now a father of five after reportedly welcoming a baby girl with longtime girlfriend Kayla Quick earlier this year. Strahan has previously spoken about feeling happy and fortunate with the people around him. That history helps explain why marriage may not carry the same appeal for him today.
