The popular quarterback has remained unbeatable in the last 3 matches as he eyes the Week 4 clash against the Las Vegas Raiders. Amid this, one of his investments has made a $5 million funding. A few days ago, as per reports, Patrick Mahomes’ MLB team, the Kansas City Royals, has committed to a $5 million funding which will go to the city’s Housing Gateway Program. As part of a larger agreement requiring the Kansas City Royals to chip in a minimum of $55 million for local community benefits over their 30-year lease, the team dedicated multiple specific $5 million sums for community impacts. For the unversed, Patrick Mahomes acquired a minority ownership stake in the Kansas City Royals on July 28, 2020, becoming part of the MLB franchise’s ownership group led by chairman and CEO John Sherman. Though it has not been confirmed how much the Super Bowl champion has invested into the Kansas City Royals or the percentage of stake he has acquired, the team is currently valued at a whopping $1.64 billion.

As per reports, the Kansas City Royals President Brooks Sherman weighed in on it at the Kansas City Council’s Finance Committee as he said, “Five-million-dollar contributions for the city’s Housing Gateway Program and its efforts to fund solutions to homelessness. Patrick Mahomes , the Kansas City Chiefs’ star player has put his mind to winning the Super Bowl this season after a brutal run on the field in the last season.
