But before anyone started imagining Mahomes strolling into the Chiefs locker room like it was a Saturday night at the bar, there was a much more sensible explanation. He also connected with Travis Kelce for a touchdown, while Kansas City survived a game that went down to the final moments. That makes the pregame clip even funnier in hindsight.
Just minutes before the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football, NBC cameras caught Mahomes taking a swig from a small bottle containing a yellowish liquid.
