However, the entire trajectory has been changed following the events of the September 7 episode of Monday Night RAW. A popular WWE superstar from the women’s division finally came back on television amid major rumors of her leaving the company. She is none other than The Role Model, Bayley. She had not been seen on television since losing to Lyra Valkyria in a huge singles match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in July. Amid her absence, rumors hinted that she might leave the company as her contract was reportedly heading towards expiry.
On the September 7 episode of Monday Night RAW, a triple threat match pitted Lyra Valkyria, Sol Ruca, and Maxxine Dupri against each other to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Just before the referee could count to 3, Bayley came out of nowhere and pulled him out of the ring. The bout was an exciting, high-stakes showdown to witness. As the match came towards the end, Valkyria delivered a Night Wing on Dupri and covered her for the three-count. Valkyria was shocked to see the return of her old rival, and so was the WWE Universe, who were seemingly convinced that Bayley might not return. This distraction allowed Sol Ruca to hit the Sol Snatcher on Valkyria and pin her to win and qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. After the match was over, Bayley got into the ring and began laying a beatdown on Valkyria, who had once been her partner but turned against her, reigniting their feud once again.
