Towards the end of their conversation, after talking about Goldberg’s career and family, the host said that he would ask players to write their own eulogies when he worked as a football coach and presented Goldberg with a similar opportunity to address this inevitability. He said, “We’re all going to expire here soon. I think in a long dissertation, that’s what should be up my headstone. ” When asked what his son, Gage, would say on the day he leaves the world, Goldberg said that he would like to be remembered as a great father to him. Goldberg is way down the road, but I was a father that cared more about his family than himself and would do anything and everything not only to protect them, but to arm them for what’s to come”, said Goldberg.
WWE legend Goldberg found himself addressing one of the most difficult yet harsh reality-based questions recently. He appeared on NewsNation’s BIFF podcast. Goldberg acknowledged that everyone will face death eventually, including him. However, the more important thing for him was that he could look back at his life and see the positive impact he had created on the people he loved and his fans. We can’t outrun death. You know, everybody everybody’s time’s going to be up at some point. You just want to make sure that once you look back on it that you did everything that you can and that you’ve positively affected as many people as humanly possible, but most importantly, you’re a good father and a good husband. For the WWE legend, being a good family man was much greater than the larger-than-life wrestling character he portrayed for years. “You know, I would say that um I treat people the way they want to be treated. The most important title that I have is father and husband. Goldberg and his son have been seen on WWE television on numerous occasions. Following that, he has been out of the scene, spending more time with his family and exploring life beyond wrestling.
