Krafton India has announced Alan Walker’s performance at BMIC 2026: The wider industry impact

Krafton India has announced Alan Walker’s performance at BMIC 2026. The electronic music artist will perform on October 30, the opening day of the Battlegrounds Mobile India International Cup, at the Dome, SVP Indoor Stadium (NSCI), Mumbai. The tournament runs from October 30 to November 1 and brings together 16 teams from India, South Korea and Japan. They will compete for a Rs 1 crore prize pool and spots in the Global Championship 2026. Tickets are available through District, according to Krafton’s October 26 announcement. Walker’s performance is scheduled for the first day, while the esports competition will continue across the three-day event. Walker previously collaborated with BGMI through the 2024 ‘Be A Hero’ campaign. BMIC 2026 brings together two things I’m passionate about – gaming and music – and I can’t wait to be part of it. India’s lineup includes BMSD 2026 champions iQOO SouL, Gladiators Esports, iQOO 8Bit, K9 Esports, Blitz Epigrotive Gaming and Outrage Esports. Beyond the title and prize money, teams will compete for spots at the Global Championship 2026. District’s Mumbai listings start at Rs 499.

Announced in partnership with ticketing platform District, the appearance brings Walker back to the BGMI community two years after his track ‘Hero’ featured in the game.

Bring your squad, and let’s make some noise,” Walker said. Karan Pathak, Associate Director of Esports at Krafton India, said the performance would extend that earlier association from the game to a live event. The tournament will feature six Indian teams, alongside five teams each from South Korea and Japan. His song ‘Hero’ became lobby music and was featured in related in-game events. “India, I’m coming home! The love I’ve received from BGMI players since ‘Hero’ became part of the game has been incredible, and I’m excited to perform for this community in person. Krafton’s press release does not provide a match-by-match schedule or name the participating Korean and Japanese teams. Fans can find the event on the District’s booking page. Availability and seating options will vary depending on the booking selected. The venue is indoors, air-conditioned, and uses pre-assigned seating. District states that all attendees, regardless of age, require tickets. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and paid parking is listed among the facilities. You use AI every day.
