HP has expanded its workstation portfolio in India with the launch of the HP ZBook Ultra G3a 16, a thin-and-light mobile workstation aimed at AI developers, engineers, designers and content creators.
The company said the new device combines high-performance computing, local AI capabilities and enterprise-grade mobility to support demanding professional workloads.
The ZBook Ultra G3a 16 can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor and up to 192GB of unified memory, according to HP.
HP said the mobile workstation starts at approximately 1.9kg and measures 17.9mm in thickness. A redesigned thermal architecture enables performance of up to 100W, which the company claims delivers up to 81.8% higher thermal design power (TDP) compared to previous designs. The workstation also features a 16-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, aimed at professionals who require colour accuracy and visual precision for design, engineering and content production tasks. The HP ZBook Ultra G3a 16 packs a 96Wh battery that HP claims can deliver up to 14 hours of battery life.
The laptop supports 140W and 180W GaN USB-C charging adapters for faster charging. Other features include 5G connectivity, an IT-replaceable keyboard for easier servicing and HP Wolf Security for enterprise-grade device protection.
The HP ZBook Ultra G3a 16 is priced at ₹2,89,990 (excluding taxes) and is available through HP’s commercial channel partners across India.
