Mivi Enters Smartphone Market with Mivi One 5G
Mivi has officially launched its first smartphone, the Mivi One 5G, manufactured in India. This marks the company’s entry into the competitive smartphone sector. In addition to the launch, Mivi has announced plans to enhance its capabilities in smartphone design, engineering, and manufacturing within India, signaling a commitment to local production and innovation.
Mivi One 5G: Price and availability
The device comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 5G Mobile Platform, a 6,000mAh battery and a 50MP dual-camera setup. It runs Pure Android 16 and is available with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Mivi One 5G also features a 6.745-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and IP64-rated protection. The company has listed the regular prices and special Big Billion Day (BBD) prices as follows: The first sale will begin on October 8 at midnight. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports 18W PD 2.0 charging. The smartphone features a 6.745-inch HD+ In-Cell display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2.5D cover glass and a waterdrop notch. It has a 9.15mm-thick body and weighs 210g. The phone uses a 2.5D PMMA back and a front cover made from PC and injection-moulded aluminium-titanium alloy.
Mivi has entered India’s smartphone market with its first smartphone, the Mivi One 5G. The smartphone will be sold through Flipkart, with the first sale scheduled for next month. It will be available in five colour options. The Mivi One 5G will be available on Flipkart in 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM configurations, with 128GB storage across variants. The smartphone will be available in Blue, Pink, Green, Burgundy and Navy Blue colour options. For photography, the Mivi One 5G has a 50MP primary rear camera with PDAF, a secondary rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It also has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
