The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 24,999 and the 8GB + 128GB at Rs 27,999, dropping to Rs 21,999 and Rs 24,999 at launch. Photography runs through a 50MP Dual AI main camera with Film Filters, Pro Mode and Document Mode, while the 8MP selfie camera adds a built-in teleprompter.
It goes on sale from August 7 on Flipkart , starting at Rs 24,999. The phone can also work in reverse, with 22.5W wired reverse charging that turns it into a power bank for earbuds and smaller accessories. The 17.75cm (6.9-inch) AMOLED display runs FHD+ at 120Hz, with a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, DCI-P3 coverage and up to 1800 nits of peak brightness. Sunlight Display handles outdoor glare, Wet Touch 2.0 handles damp fingers, and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor handles unlocking.
Poco has launched the M8 Power in India, and the pitch fits on a single line of a spec sheet: what the company calls an industry-leading 8000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, wrapped around a 120Hz AMOLED panel.
Poco is selling the idea as “Power Your Binge”—marketing shorthand for a phone meant to survive a full season of something without hunting for a wall socket. Batteries this size in this segment usually arrive with a compromise attached, whether that’s an LCD screen, a slower charger or a body you notice in your pocket. Poco’s answer is silicon-carbon chemistry paired with the Xiaomi Surge G1 Battery Management Chip, which squeezes more capacity into the same footprint.
