Apple has announced expanded supply agreements with American manufacturers to produce key materials and precision hardware for its latest flagship smartphones, the foldable iPhone Duo and the iPhone 18 Pro. The program operates under Apple’s broader four-year, $600 billion investment commitment toward domestic manufacturing and technical innovation. The tech giant currently works with suppliers spanning all 50 states, supporting more than 450,000 domestic jobs. American ingenuity is vital to all our products, from the titanium crafted for iPhone Duo to breakthrough camera innovations in iPhone 18 Pro.
The deals form part of Apple’s American Manufacturing Program (AMP), an initiative launched last year to pull advanced component production and critical fabrication back into the US.
We’re proud to work with Perryman and Qnity Electronics to continue expanding our American Manufacturing Program and support US jobs,” said Sabih Khan, Apple’s chief operating officer. “We’re thrilled to expand our work with companies producing advanced materials and components for our newest iPhone lineup right here in America.

Qnity Electronics (Delaware): Having joined AMP in March, the Delaware-headquartered supplier is expanding its manufacturing output to build proprietary optical films essential to the iPhone 18 Pro’s new variable aperture camera system. Designed for the 48MP Fusion Main camera, the system works with on-device intelligence to control depth and light intake.
