ChatGPT-maker OpenAI has announced that the launch ChatGPT Ads in India. The company has revealed that it is expanding its advertising program to one of ChatGPT’s largest and most active markets. The company confirmed that the ads will roll out to logged‑in adults using the Free and Go tiers, while Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education subscriptions will remain ad‑free.
OpenAI said the model is non‑exclusive and it will continue to identify and work with other agencies. WPP and Omnicom will be OpenAI’s first agency partners for ChatGPT Ads in India.
On September 4, OpenAI will launch self‑serve access to ChatGPT Ads Manager in India, enabling businesses of all sizes to sign up with daily budgets starting as low as ₹725.

ChatGPT Ads aim to help businesses connect with people at moments of active consideration, creating opportunities for established companies, small businesses, and emerging Indian brands.
