Elon Musk congratulates CEOs and execs after Google CEO Sundar Pichai announces Gemini 4 Argon
Google CEO Sundar Pichai shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) announcing its flagship AI model – Gemini 4 Argon. “ Gemini 4 Argon is here. X owner Elon Musk responded to Pichai’s post congratulating him on the global release of Gemini 4 Argon. Announced earlier this year, Google says Gemini 4 Argon is designed for precision in demanding domains including coding, finance, legal research and cybersecurity.
“CEOs & execs posting to the public directly on 𝕏 is the best way to get your message out and drive product sales,” Elon Musk said adding “Vastly more powerful and effective than a press release”. Hope you all enjoy it!,” Pichai wrote in the post. It’s available globally today for developers and enterprises in the paid tier of the Gemini API and the Gemini platform, for Ultra subscribers in Google Antigravity, and Ultra and Pro subscribers in the Gemini app and Search.
Google officially rolled out Gemini 4 Argon on October 13 to tackle deep, complex, multi-step tasks across real-world software engineering, robotics, science and enterprise workflows.
The model ranks number one on the Vals Index, an evaluation framework that tracks model performance across core economic sectors such as taxation, legal and software development, according to Google. The model is available globally to developers and businesses via the Gemini API, as well as to Google AI subscribers across Google Antigravity, the standalone Gemini app and AI Mode in Google Search.
