Bergh has served as a director at HP since 2015 and as Chair since 2017. With a new CEO and board chair set to take office at the start of 2027, HP is positioning itself for a new chapter focused on AI-driven innovation, business transformation and future growth. The announcement also marks the end of Chip Bergh’s tenure as board chair. Broussard praised Bergh’s leadership, saying he helped guide HP through a period of significant change while maintaining a strong focus on governance, capital allocation and shareholder value creation.
