Diwali brings guests, deliveries, and time away from home. A security camera can help keep an eye on the entrance, a video door phone can show who is visiting, and a smart lock can give family members safer ways to get inside. For households refreshing other rooms, connected appliances and speakers bring grocery planning, music and compatible device controls into the mix.
Customers can pre-order, with deliveries starting November 13.
Alexa+ will be available once it’s rolled out in India, says Amazon. Compatible lights, plugs, and sensors can slot into household routines, while presence and temperature detection enable automation. It also has a physical privacy control: a microphone-off switch. A video door phone helps residents see and speak to visitors before opening the door. Godrej’s Pro Nova listing includes visitor recording and expandable storage. However, its page mixes Pro Nova and NeX Lux specifications, so buyers should confirm the exact display, connectivity and lock-control features before ordering. This Airtel outdoor camera includes both app viewing and cloud event recording. The Active Defence Cam has a spotlight and a siren. Buyers should check the subscription coverage and installation fees of their preferred setup. HomeView combines a seven-inch touchscreen, Siri AI and compatible smart-home controls. It is not yet available for immediate delivery in India. Wall-mounted versions require a separately priced mount.
