Update 5: A fix has been implemented and we believe the incident is now resolved. We are continuing to monitor for errors to ensure all services are back to normal.

Update 4: We’ve deployed a change which has restored dashboard services. Reportedly, the outage was so widespread that the tracking website Downdetector was temporarily hit by the technical problems itself before recovering to show a dramatic spike in reported incidents. We are still working to remediate broad application services impact. Various large websites experienced a widespread disruption after a major technical problem hit Cloudflare, the IT infrastructure company responsible for protecting and accelerating numerous top websites. Multiple reports suggest that visitors attempting to access sites including X (formerly Twitter), Spotify, and film reviewing site Letterboxd were met with error messages indicating an internal server error on Cloudflare’s network.

Users affected by the crash saw a message asking them to “please try again in a few minutes,” pointing directly to an “internal server error on Cloudflare’s network.”
