How to add or remove an email address from your Facebook account: Here’s a step-by-step guide
Your email address is an important part of your Facebook account, whether you want to use a new email, add a backup address or remove an old one. Meta allows users to manage their linked email addresses through the Accounts Centre in Settings. As stated on a Meta FAQ page, one can add a new email address by entering a confirmation code sent to it, while removing an existing address may require you to enter your Facebook password. Here is a step-by-step guide to adding, removing or changing your email address on Facebook.
Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook. Select Settings and privacy, then click Settings. Click on Accounts Centre. Click Personal details, then click on Contact info. Click Add new contact, click Add email address, enter email address and select account, then click Next. Enter the confirmation code you receive at the email address entered and click Next and then Close. Click on the email address that you want to remove, click Delete email, then click Delete to confirm. You may be asked to re-enter your Facebook password. Enter your password and click Submit and then Close. To change your email address, you’ll need to remove an email address associated with your account first and then add a new email address. Note: You can also change who sees the email address associated with your account, and which email address is the primary email associated with your account. You use AI every day.
