He was reporting from the southern Lebanese town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa when the strike hit nearby. In the footage, shared by Al-Manar, the journalist preparing for a live broadcast when the strike hit behind him. “The IDF does not target uninvolved individuals or journalists under any circumstances. The IDF makes every effort to minimise harm to uninvolved individuals while maintaining the safety of its forces,” the military stated. Concerns over renewed Israeli military operations have increased in Lebanon following days of strikes despite a June ceasefire aimed at halting fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
