Police said no suicide note was recovered and a joint team of Kotwali police, the Special Operations Group (SOG) and forensic experts was investigating the case. Prayagraj : The body of a first-year MBBS student of Dr Sonelal Patel Medical College was found near the hostel lawn in Pratapgarh district on Sunday morning.
The deceased, identified as Mithlesh Kumar (27), was a native of Ballia and had taken admission to the medical college in 2024. He added that police received information about a body lying on the hostel lawn around 8 am and rushed to the spot. 211 on the first floor of the hostel building and had failed his first-year examinations.
