In a statement Wednesday, DSIIDC said its management approved the app on Dec 12, 2024, and issued the work order on Jan 2, 2025. “For iOS users, a QR-based microsite was rolled out on Sept 6 2026. The app saw a total of 3,629 transactions in the first year of its launch of around Rs 13 lakh worth of liquor sold in FY 2025-26, according to the online liquor booking data. Buyers need to collect their orders within 48 hours. There is no provision for home delivery of the liquor booked as it is prohibited under the current 2020-21 liquor policy.

Officials said the govt has no plans to introduce it. The app only allows registered users to check stock online, book and pay digitally, requiring OTP-verified store pickup with no home delivery. The current BJP government did not interfere, as the app helps shorten queues and manage law and order,” DSIIDC stated. The portal allows customers to select liquor brands, bottle sizes and quantities from a chosen outlet and pay digitally.
