The HC gave the directive during an in-camera hearing. Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Friday set a three-week deadline for the CBI to complete the probe in the RG Kar rape-and-murder case.
In their previous order on May 21, the bench had directed SIT, relieving the earlier IO Seema Pahuja, to focus on the surrounding circumstances of the fateful night, from the stage when the victim had dinner with her doctor friends till the time of cremation. The bench also directed the SIT to revisit the parents’ grievances and interrogate them, if required.
